From theory to practice.

Priteo is an engineering academy run by practising specialists. Each course starts with the principle and ends with what you do about it on the job.

What can I learn?

Each course takes one technical subject and follows it all the way through: the principle behind it, how the work is done properly, and how to read what comes back.

Knowing it and doing it are different skills.

The textbook gives you the method. The job gives you incomplete data, a deadline and a decision to sign. Our courses are built to cover the distance between the two.

An engineer measuring a concrete core sample with a digital caliper on site
  • The textbook gives you: A standard procedure.

The job asks for: Running it when conditions on site don’t match the standard.

  • The textbook gives you: An equation and an answer.

The job asks for: Knowing which inputs to trust, and how wrong the answer could be.

  • The textbook gives you: Worked examples with clean data.

The job asks for: Reading real results, including the ones that look wrong.

  • The textbook gives you: A summary at the end of the chapter.

The job asks for: A decision you can explain and put your name to.

Why trust this training?

Because the people teaching it still do the work. Priteo instructors are practising engineers. They teach the methods they use, and their name is on the course.

  • Named instructors

Every course page shows who teaches it and what they have done, before you enrol.

  • Assessed, not just watched

Each course sets a pass mark. Your certificate is issued when you meet it.

  • Kept current

Courses are versioned. When the content is updated, you can see what changed.

Training a team?

Enrol your engineers and technicians together and see where each of them stands. The company view shows who has started, who has finished and how they scored, so training time becomes something you can account for.

  • Enrol a group with a company code
  • Progress, attempts and grades for each person
  • A certificate for every completed course

How do I start?

Three steps, and the first one costs nothing but a few minutes of reading.

  1. Choose a course

Read the chapter list and the instructor’s background first. You should know what you are getting before you enrol.

  2. Create your account and enrol

It takes a few minutes. If your company gave you a code, enter it when you enrol.

  3. Learn, pass, get your certificate

Work through the lessons at your own pace. Pass the assessments and download your certificate.
